Terms & conditions

Agreements

Publishing agreements are made between the agent partner and Village Publishing Limited, and are confirmed in writing per program. The per-issue fee, print run, pagination and issue count are set out in that agreement.

Territory exclusivity

We work with a single agent partner per defined catchment area. Exclusivity applies for the duration of the agreed program and is defined by the distribution area described in your agreement, not by an informal understanding of your patch.

Minimum commitment

Programs run for a minimum of four issues so the publication has time to establish itself with readers. Frequency between four and twelve issues per year is agreed in advance.

Content and approval

The agent partner is responsible for the accuracy of the content they supply for their pages, including property particulars and any claims made in advertising. Editorial produced by us is provided for the partner to review ahead of each print deadline.

Advertising

Advertising is sold to non-competing local businesses. We reserve the right to decline advertising that conflicts with the partner's business or is unsuitable for a household publication.

Payment

Fees are invoiced per issue or across the committed run, as set out in your agreement. We accept major credit and debit cards and BACS transfer.

Distribution

Distribution is GPS-tracked and delivered to the agreed catchment. Occasional non-delivery to individual properties (for example, those with no-junk-mail notices) does not constitute a failure of the distribution round.

These terms summarise how our programs operate. Your signed agreement is the definitive document.
